F**k you (and Also Me Too). I Guess All of Us.

It’s really reaffirming to me how we’re all part of a country who wants to just get it all together. It’s just like cotton candy in my ears. I keep hearing from “Americans” that say they want what’s best for all Americans, right? I guess we’re all together, right? Hey, everyone sees a twist coming, don’t they? I guess I could do better.

We have disgust for an Olympic gymnist medalist (Simone Biles) because we don’t empathize with everything that happened with how she was scored. We hate a women’s Olympic soccer team (mainly Raponoe) because some people kneeled. Yeah, you are so pro-America. Is it possible you’re just pro-ideology? Because it doesn’t sound like you’re pro-USA here.

Stop pretending this is another civil war. We don’t want that. We are not two nations divided anymore. We compromise and love the country itself if we all fly the same flag. We should at least. But hear me out:

I still agree we all want most of the same things — because we do! We really do. Maybe I’m wrong at times, but I’m right about this. We are more friends than foes, and we almost always get along in person.

But wanting to get along online? Nah. We’d rather act as rival sports teams — rooting for whatever our “hometown” announcers tell us to. People are ruled by memes and media manipulation these days. And the result of that is just anger and rivalries against others for being on a “different side.”

Liberals are so busy calling the right-wingers everything from “uneducated, backwater, rednecks” to “rich grifters who exploit them,” as well as “scant, indoctrinated affluent yuppies.” So many of them are flying high on some wings which they feel enlightened and destined to spread intelligence. Trust me, it’s a shit-loaded head complex. I think we can do better than that.

But here’s where we can start with the GOP still chirping about how the election was “rigged.” Yet they refuse to acknowledge that the entire system has been rigged in their favor for decades:

Everything from:
-The electoral college (the popular vote has been for the Dem candidate since the 90’s);
-The filibuster (GOP uses standing up to kill liberal bills that would pass;
-Gerrymandering (this applies to both parties, but examine Virginia’s districts for an example of how to do it the best);
-The amount of senators representing each state (2 for the most populous state and also 2 for the least populous);
-McConnell literally abusing his power to stack the Supreme Court (nobody has yet denied that shit).

Come on, conservatives. Look in the mirror. You’re a minority party now grasping to power. Just like in the 1960’s. Time to evolve.

And, Dems: stop seeing your fellow people as unapproachable, tiresome weirdos. It’s possible for us all to see how this country has been shaped and what we can do to help the people. Because right now, everyone is just mad at everyone, and that’s a problem.

But truth be told, none of that is the voters’ fault. They just put up with it only when it’s their party operating that way.

These parties not two different parties. They’re closer to six.

For example, it seems the GOP now exclusively now trusts everything that is is only controversial and bends to what their media tells them scary things they want to hear. To keep them scared. To keep them frightened of the scary realities they need to face. Imagine that. Imagine Salem, Massachusetts in the 17th century. “Go burn, witch woman with your iPhone and your girlfriend!” We hate you! I think we can do better than that.

With all that is going on right now, it’s hilarious to me that the majority of us aren’t unified in destroying the two-party system. Conservatives always busy associating “rich Hollywood elites” with “poor minorities on welfare” and “college kids and young adults with an education.”

Is that right? Are all of these groups are of the same binary perspective? It all comes down to two options that the media sells to you? Damn. That’s pretty sad that you’re so quick to play a game of darts against so many people that don’t all care about beating you at one game. They might actually care about some unity and actual betterment of this country everyone seems to care about.

Turn off media that divides you. In other words: It’s “all fake news.” It’s “sad.” The reality is were all just consuming two points of view and picking one as reality. I think we can we do better than that.

We aren’t actually two parties. And while we are 50 states, we are one nation. We aren’t rural or urban. We are 230 million individuals who care for each other. Why are just divided by media based on a system to exploit us through division. We don’t have to let them keep winning. We can do better than that.

I am an individual. I am pro-gun ownership, and I am pro-marijuana regulation. How about more party representation and less people being divisive on issues because media? Or do I have to split myself down the middle on every possible thing I see?

Well, that would mean me losing a testicle, and…

I can do better than that. We can do better than this. All my Hamel love.
